Lil Girl Update
The little girl's dad was just in...he is remarkably calm, but he's had 10 days to come down from this. He'd like for "Bubba" to get a hold of these guys....we told him that "he would when they got to jail". And we so hope this happens to them. I know God will deal with these people eventually, but the little girl has been scared from the beginning of this and as humans we want the pedofile to suffer just as much and more. (You know how...the dull knife, inch by inch while dangling from a tree.) Sad enough that their wedding pictures have this man in them, dancing and other poses. Now their wedding photos have also been ruined because of this. The news media has been called so these guys pictures will be plastered throughout our viewing area so that everyone will know.....trouble is, if they show the neighborhood or tell to many facts, someone will recognize the victim and she doesn't need this. It will be bad enough living with this and having to relive it through statements and utlimately testimony at the trial. Parents worst nightmare....someone you thought you were good friends with and could trust. Makes me stop and take a hard look at the friends and acquaintences around us. And now every Easter season will probably trigger a sad memory.

Sad to say that it is usually someone the victim knows. Especially when it is a young child. The main thing is that the parents get her to conseling.
Because she will never look at the world the same way. And conseling will help her . It will help her maintain a healthy self esteem and not slip into severe depression.

That is one thing about the prison system that I do like. Pedafilles are not popular around hardened criminals....
Im sorry, but in cases like that, I believe in an eye for an eye, ya know ?
What a terrible thing! My thoughts and prayers are with that poor little girl and the family.
Oh, "Bubba" most definitely will get ahold of these guys. Even the most hardened criminal hates a child abuser. The punishment will come. Chris
He'll get his comeuppance. It's the same the world over ~ here in England our hardened criminals hate child abusers and definitely he would be abused by them for what he did to that poor little girl. I'm so sorry to hear this.

This whole thing sounds awful I feel for the child and I hope this guy gets what he deserves. I hope they won't trigger bad memories around Easter for her throughout her life. Anyway, have a good Easter and take care.

OMgoodness, that is a mother's worst nightmare. Exactly why I won't let my children "go". They don't understand it now but someday, they will. I am very paranoid about this because I read somewhere that sexual abuse used to happen to 1 in 4 girls but nowadays, it's more than not. Unbelievable! Thanks for sharing this. Maybe it will make parents more aware. Love, Shelly
