I went into a gas station today and
asked for two dollars worth of gas.....
The clerk farted and gave me a receipt.

Is it my imagination or did gas prices come down a few cents? Last weekend, being Memorial Day and all, prices here had gone up to about $3.09 some as low as $3.04.
This week I noticed that some were at $2.97 !!!! Even some of those that were in the above $3 range. That's a nice change even if it is only "change".
I find myself flipping the proverbial coin.....do I go to "XYZ" Store or do I wait until I HAVE to go that way.......like on Monday when I HAVE to head back to work and will pass the store. This is very depressing. No remedy in sight for the high cost of living these days.
What prices do you have in your neck of the woods ???

We went to Sedona, up north from Tucson, last weekend, and the highest price we saw was $3.31, the lowest $2.97. We're looking to trade in my husband's car and get a SUV or truck..with the price of gas, and its future...I think its a bad idea, but hey, what do i know??

gas in IL. is around 3.40-3.80. Doesn't get me very far.
Think it's about 3.14 here in the southern texas panhandle. too durn much if you ask me.

It is $2.97 where I live. Thank God I live right around the corner from where I work and Rick has a company truck....

Still $3.09 in western Pa. Some have lowered it to $3.07..whoo hoo...not. That's still a lot to pay. I put $25 in and got a little more than half a tank. Really, it's depressing because the price of gas is raising the cost of everything. UGH....HUGS Chris
Here in Wisconsin we were paying almost 3.50 and then it came down to 3.35 and we were excited...lol.

Love the joke! I'm not sure but gas is about what it is at your house. When I was farther north last week we paid around $3.30 or so.

here in philly it is 3.11 to 3.17 a gallon, depending on where you go. It's just crazy. Hubby says he works just to keep van gased up, lol. (((((((Hugs))))))))
