I had to read your back entries to make sense of this entry.
I am praying that Ashley is alive and well.
I had a rebellious 17 year old a few years ago. The transformation was astounding. It was like she was respectful and loving then she woke up one day and her attitude turned 360 degrees! She tried the running away bit too.
I think running away is caused by a child's yearning for independence. Some teenage hormones makes them want to break away from rules and authority figures.
I am glad to say that my rebel is turning back to her old self. Maturity cured her wild spirits and we see her more now than we ever had since she left for college.
