Marching On

**** a PS at the top of this entry!!  As soon as I had hit "save" the HVAC people called and said my compressor was still under warranty!! YAY!!!  BUT.....all the other parts to go with this repair will cost $1030.  That is awesome....could have been worse...I was thinking upwards of $3000.  Whew!  Now I can breathe a bit better knowing I WILL have A/C for this awful NC summertime heat!! ..end of PS****

Now on to the original entry:

I gotta tell ya.......Tom has been a dear.  I've been sick and he's been good to me.  Except for the one incident last week of leaving Tara at dance while he plundered through the mall.........

He's been even tempered, not quick to jump to conclusions.

He even went to church yesterday too!

Friday POURED rain ... I mean POURED!  I didn't even leave the house until later in the evening.  I had planned to come into work for a couple of hours and get a head start on Monday's bills, but NO way was I going out in the monsoon!

We had dinner at the Macaronni Grill....Miss T and I shared the Lasagne and brought enough home for lunch too.  She is looking for a specific brown color and specific shoe...and is hard to fit with her narrow foot.  We're exhausting all shoe stores lately.

Just try to keep her out of Limited Too!  We did manage to go in and out without buying anything.

Saturday Miss T had solo practice and the teacher said it was the first time this year that she'd seen her actually put the emotion into the practice....YAY!

It was a beautiful day.  I was able to get outside briefly and take some pictures of my pear tree that is in full bloom.  Can't remember what kind it is....it's the hard pear....it has pear babies but not yet been big enough for eating.  Maybe this year.

Temps so far this weekend held near 60.....and bright sunshine.  With a tad of wind we still had to wear a jacket.

Saturday night while T was at a sleepover, Mr Man and I went out to dinner.  We went to a local place with food and live music.  The band was great - playing oldies, the real oldies of the 60's & 70's.  We were going to a movie, but decided on staying to hear the band instead.

I was still having coughing fits and being in this smokey restaurant/bar didn't help.  Home by 11pm ..... I just wish I wasn't still so sick.

Cough, pee, poot!  That's how it is.

Sunday Tom took me to the Pottery and we looked at some wrought iron chairs for the front porch....I may have him go back and get them.....$65 for 2 chairs not a bad deal.  The matching table was only $21!!

BUT.........as the day went on, he began to feel the ire of a cold coming on.  Yep, Mr "I never get sick" is getting sick.  The family that shares together............Poor guy!  I hate it for him.  First Miss T, me now him.

NOW I wake up on this Monday to FROST!  Frost I tell ya!  34 degrees and the high only to about 60.  Geeesh

Can you see the frost on these shells that were sitting on my porch??

Did someone forget to inform Mother Nature AND Jack Frost that EASTER IS COMING SOON??? AND Spring is only 19 days away.  There's alot of blooms yet to happen.

You know the pine trees always get the "golden crosses" on top and the Dogwoods need to be blooming by Easter Sunday - that's the rule!!!

We may make it in time.  Guess that's why we had all that rain.

Have a great week y'all!!

Whew, that Limited Too store is expensive!  If you don't hit a sale it can break the bank.

Spring is in the air here in Florida...maybe you need to move those shells to my porch.  LOL!  I'll take the chairs and table too.

Bella and Miss T would get along great.  Love to shop, love cute things.  I just have to buy for the other one right now though.  She doesn't care what I buy her.

How did I miss that about your AC?  Glad you aren't going to be shelling out megabucks.  I'm also super glad to hear that Tom is coming around.  It must be nice to have a husband around again.  Hope you all start feeling better.  Love those blossoms.  We have at least six weeks before we see that here, at least.  LOL at the frost.  Thought us Yankess would share some.   HUGS Chris
