A-Z Photo Challenge - Exfoliate

E....eeeez not as eeeezy as it seems.

Elephant, ears, eggs....

I wanted electricity...lightening in the sky type, but here's what I have.

ex·fo·li·ate  (ks-fl-t)

1. To remove (a layer of bark or skin, for example) in flakes or scales; peel.
 
 
 
 
I was going to use Escarole....but nahhhhh.

I think EXFOLIATE is a perfect picture.  Who would have thought you'd catch a lizard in the wild shedding its skin?

We have those little critters here but I have never seen them shed their skin. In fact I didn't know they did that. I do have a picture of a pair of them mating though hee hee. Helen
