Spoiled Rotten!

I bitch and moan about alot of stuff but I've got to say that I am Queen!

Last Thursday I had the best lunch with my gal pal T!  We ate at Red Robin, talked business and pleasure and pleasure and how men just don't always "do it" for us.  We laughed and plotted .....can't tell you about that!  She is so creative and upbeat and funny -- it does me good to be with her.  We should make it a weekly date to have lunch together.  What's stopping us?

I came home from work Thursday to get to Miss T's open house at Middle School and then went to my favorite sub and pizza joint.  I sent a text to Roomie "max's?" and she called back saying she'd meet us.

It was a good dinner......just not long enough.

Y'all say a prayer or 2 for Miss T....she's a bit (a lot) nervous about going into Middle School...lots of "what if's" coming from her.  She and I will go back up to the school Monday morning to feel it out again.  There were so many people at Open House it was overwhelming to her.

Friday Miss T had solo practice at 4:30 and I met with an insurance man to sign papers for my parents policy.  Then it was straight home.  Miss T's friend came over for a sleep over.

I haven't left the house since then!

During the night my baby bro was "drunk texting" me.....and I had to laugh cause he said he'd met a lady identical to me and it freaked him out...but not in a bad way.

Wonder what THAT meant?

Saturday my bestestfriendinthewholewideworld Cindilouwho came over to swim and hang out.....then her daughter called and I said "come on over too" so she did and brought her 3 yr old daughter.  That kid has NO FEAR....thank GOD I had water wings to put on her cause she LIVED in the pool.  We all got in around noon 30; came out for hot dogs and back in.  Mr Man had gone to the store and bought dogs, burgers, chips, chili, kraut, drinks........

I didn't come out until 7pm.  Tom had already gotten a shower.  I said "go turn the hot water on for me so I don't freeze" waiting for it to get from the heater to my shower.  He did.

Then I finished reading my mystery "Murder at the Opera" by Margaret Truman.  Love her mysteries.

Today Mr Man was up early, showered and headed to church ---- I was still asleep and had no idea he had left.  Miss T woke me around 9 and we had breakfast; she got dressed for church and left with my Nanny.

Cindilouwho came over with her semi-defunct husband soon to be X husband.  (He just doesn't get it)  I never heard them hit the water....I looked out and she was skimming the pool!

(Seriously he's on his way out!  Leaving soon to go back home to mommy and daddy.)

We enjoyed a dip from about noon 30 till 3 when some clouds rolled over all the while Tom is inside making Baked Ziti for me!

I like when he cooks, most of the time.  He cleans up behind himself.  Plus the food is great!

I can't believe I haven't left this house in over 48 hours for a change...ahhhh nothing pressing to do this weekend....nice!
