Over the Hump Day?

Naaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh......

Mr Man shows up at 4:30pm on Monday.  "Sorry" of course.  The "reason" for his absence..........anger.......at the Giants' loss.

Come on give me a break!

Miss T gave him what for!  Said to him "those drugs are gonna kill you" and "who you are is determined by what you do".  WOW...said she got that one off a poster in her teacher's room.  She even told him she does not trust him.  Then she asked me "why did you marry him?".

Now he's got a terrible cough.  Hmmmmmm, wonder why?

            ********************************

I had dinner with my friend, Sha, last night, for our 'farewell' meal.  Only when I got there things seemed different.  She had a tall Mojito and cigarettes - she was clearly dumbfounded by something.  She had received a call.  It seems the X-boyfriend may be willing to commit afterall.   She's packed, she's still moving, but to where?  The monkey has thrown in a wrench!  To be continued....again............

            *********************************

The bestestfriendinthewholewideworldCindilouwho has accepted a management job here in the local town.  She claims to be put - staying home near family and friends.  No more running after pipe dreams and woulda shoulda been's.  If this new old boyfriend doesn't work out,............. oh I've heard this one before!  I live in Dramaville!

           **********************************

Anyone ever heard of the IPA?  International Profit Associates, Inc. in Illinois.  What a bunch of scam artists.  One of their outside sales associates was in our area on Monday and stopped by the office.  Said their company was in the business of making YOUR business more profitable.  HA!

Better Business Bureau has 400+ complaints against this company.  Their founders are criminals (scamcheck.com), disbarred attorneys.

One of the "analysts" came to the office today.  Bossman met with him for a few minutes then turned him over to me saying that I had some concerns about their company.  Then bossman left the office (gee thanks).

"Analyst" was sly....he hooked up his laptop in our spare office and got out his intake sheet.....he answered my questions and addressed my concerns.  He wanted 5 years of corporate and personal tax returns.  NO!  Our CPA would not allow the release of those documents without being present himself.  =)  When I questioned how they thought they could better my boss's business (a self-made millionaire who worked his way through college and is only 44 years old who is a stickler for getting the best product for the best buck and can single handedly quote a house price within a $100) he began to pack up his equipment.

But he still wouldn't quit.  Said he'd be back about 2pm when bossman would be back.  Fine.  He did and we talked more.  I told him I was curious.....I didn't think they had a strategy for us that we haven't already thought of and put into place.

The "analyst" said 'obviously you have a background in accounting', I said "no, it's actually a legal background, I am a paralegal".  (I just happen to be crunching books these past 7 years and have for 20+.)

Finally I signed a piece of paper saying NO DEAL - NOT INTERESTED - NO FEE that he promptly faxed to his boss.

The nerve.......they wanted to see the bottom dollar of each of our entities so that they could gauge their own profit.  Not on my time, no thank you.  You see, it's borderline legal...as long as they "ask" and you "allow" they have the loophole;  you willingly gave them the ammo.

Not in my town pardner!

I'm not paid enough to deal with these kinds of jerks.

(Sniff, sniff) It's off to the shower for me!  Nite all!

Miss T is an astute young lady!!  Just like her momma raised her :)  As long as you're willing to put up with what he does, and you're ok with it, then ok.  Drama is the center of our lives...just look at Rosie and Donald, and now Babwa is in the mix!!

Out of the mouth of babes, as they say.  Kids understand more than we give them credit for, that is for sure.

Good for you with the salesguy.  What did he think?  You just fell off the stupid truck??
