Signs, Signs everywhere SIGNS!

Thank you for a slap back to my senses!

Sometimes you want "confirmation" of your thoughts, actions, etc.  Yes, I agree that "taking chances" is what life is all about (not the Hokey Pokey as we've all been misinformed).

Maybe I was in a dream state of mind....looking for a perfect world.

HA!

Hubby went to watch his NY Football Giants LOSE yesterday, and is not yet home (Noon Monday).  Yes, he's "celebrating" or rather "drowning" in his tears only the medicine is not of liquid form.

I have had to run to my bank this morning (it's nice when your parents have connections and have served on the Board) and pull out the last amount of cash in our joint account (thank GOD I have my own at a separate bank).  Left him with $2.50.  That will surely put to a screaching halt anymore drug purchases today.  I'll expect him home early afternoon.

I will put the money back in late today because I have scheduled my house payment to be made TOMORROW.  (Thanks a lot Tom!)

Miss T has a bad head cold, kept her up most of the night, coughing, blowing the nose.  I've kept her home, but since Mr Man isn't here it kept me from work, again.  My Mom has my nephew, don't want him sick, wouldn't want to chance Nanny getting it either, not at her age.

Signs.........

In Florida alligators are starving and the mosquitos I'm told are the size of Mack trucks at times.  The Weather Channel said that by the year 2100 the earth will be much hotter....can it be?

Florida "looks good" to us tourists.  I'm sure it is a lovely place to live, someday.  How's the pay?  I still have to work.  Tom has a nice pension, well, an OK pension, and now the SS Disability and Medicare.  Miss T still has 8 more years in school, then college.

Mr Man thinks his life would be "easier" in the southern state.  I keep telling him to stop acting guilty and the cops would leave him alone.  And I remind him that they are much worse in Florida....he doesn't buy that.

He would love to go fishing, yet does he?  No.  So why would he anywhere else?

My Nannyfussed at me yesterday because she has not seen us since Christmas.  Mind you she IS next door.  Yes, bad me!  I have not been over or called.  BAD ME!  And I even thought to myself "now that's just wrong" because one day I'll look back and say "should have".

My boss is very generous and understanding....otherwise I should have been fired long ago for days like today.

For now, my signs are saying STAY HOME.

Love you ALL!

I'm telling you, sometimes you just have to bounce something around to hear what you knew all along.  Especially since you do seem to be close to family.  Next door is CLOSE!
Sorry about hubby.

Glad you thought this through full circle.  Sorry Miss T is ill.  It's going around here today too.  Ugh. I'm sick of it already. I knew the right answer would come to you.

Awww sharon...my heart goes out to you.  How long can this go on with Tom & his "episodes?"  You deserve so much better.

I am glad you have an understanding boss...that must take a little bit of stress off knowing that your job is safe.  I will continue to pray for you & your family.  It is not fair for Tom to take off and not come home! So disrespectful.  Again, you deserve so much more!  I hope things get better soon.
HUGS

As long as the signs point to what is in your heart, be it where you are, Florida, or Timbuktu.  I've never lived anywhere but Tucson, and quite honestly, until I retire, I'll still be here.  'course, I can't retire for another 20 years!!  As for your hubby...well, only you know best!  I do think you deserve so much more than he gives you...but only your heart can know.  Take care...

We have similar conversations, to go to NC- Hubby says it will be easier, but I will still work - and if I dont, I wont even know anyone ! It's a hard decision.

Ellen

Well, I've heard it said that Florida is more expensive to live but the pay is better.  Housing is expensive unless you live "out of town".  The gators are starving but they don't really mess with ya. lol  Can't say the same for the mosquitos.  Would love to have ya here though. wink wink. It's no perfect world but it sure is fun sometimes.  : )  Love ya, Shelly

Dang, Sharon, you need to give Mr. Man a good dose of whoop ass.  You have far more patience that I ever did, and I was dealing with a liquid addiciton.  It's worse than having another kid.  Hang in there.  HUGS  Chris
