Some things should not be seen!

Highs today of 53.  A difference from yesterday....was about 63-65 and windy with lots of sunshine.  Today is nice, very nice.  I'm told that tonight that will change and Monday / Tuesday will be back to January weather.  Geesh.  One day I'm flip flops......next I'm socks n shoes.

My houseguest / traveling friend should be showing up by dark today.  She's on her way from the frozen tundra of Maryland.  She has learned a lesson that she had quickly forgot....all Southern Belle's cannot handle cold weather!  Back to the warmth of the good ol South!!

Hubby amazes me.......we were childless last night.  That's a rare thing.  You would have thought that....you know...things would be different.  He had a couple of cocktails, and finally about 11:30pm (tired of waiting) I said "let's pop in a movie" so we watched "Taxi".

At 1:30am when it was over, Tom reached over, grabbed the leather couch cushion and I heard a "rip" and I yelled!

Oooops, guess that killed any mood he may have been thinking.  He did say to me this morning "I even took a 'magic pill'...." and I replied "you know that WON'T work right when you're drinking"....he said "well when you yelled it upset me".

Hmmmmm I lost out on a little nookie and saved my leather couch from damage.....   Oh well, just my luck!

I was in the CVS buying candles on Friday for the birthday cake.  As I was in line, I observed a very nice looking, older couple (eh late 60's) making their last minute choices before committing to the check out line.  She was holding 2 thin novels; he was purusing the candy/mints display and holding..............

.........................

.........................

a tube of KY Jelly with aloe.

Talk about a bad vision now burned in my mind!

Some things should NOT be publicly displayed as such.

All I can say is Good for Granny & Good for Gramps!  Maybe they still got it going on!

Even if I don't........................
