Dr Visit

Well.......

Mr Man just left my office.....the doc took a lot of blood and did an EKG....he even asked Tom if perhalps he had a heart attack.

Tom said "maybe so, the way my chest was feeling" that Thursday 4/19.  According to the EKG results SOMETHING happened.  So he has a Rx for Prozac (yay!) and Nitro tablets and orders to see a cardiologist....doc will call with who, when & where.

Scarey..............

My heart aches to think he is letting little things push him to this point.  It is very scarey to think he'll end up at the cardiologist, stress test and hospitalized for possible artery blockages or worse.  However, will this be a wake up call?

WOW! Thats alot to swallow. Maybe it will be a wake up call. I hope the meds help get him in a place where he can see whats been going on and work on. I've been praying for you. Good luck!

Sounds as if he was a lucky fellow before with those chest pains. The may do all you say to get to the bottom of it and hopefully something can be done for him. I hope his meds help.

I certainly hope so!  Thats scary to think that happened to him and he didn't even know it, much less take care of it!  My husband smoked, got cancer, went thru treatment...to this day, had he not gotten cancer, he'd still be smoking!!  They just don't learn.

Tom is lucky to have a gal like you as I am to have Debbie.
now he is headed in the right direction.
Now the thing is trying to get him to eat better with heart healthy stuff and get him to take his blood pressure ever day.

If it is something serious it may be in some way a blessing.....there comes a point, sometimes, in a mans life when the fun and games are over and he takes a hard look at if he wants to live or not and he will change. YOU are always in my thoughts and prayers as is Miss T and Tom. I hope he is ok. SO GLAD he is on Prozac. It will change his life if he stays with it. love lisa

You would like to think it is a wake up call.  It's hard to say.  For some people it is, others not so much.  I am hoping that he will see the seriousness of it all!  Good things can come from it.

I am so glad he went to the doctor's. Yikes, a heart attack maybe? that's not good. I hope he takes his medication and has follow ups at doctors and cardiologists says no heart problems. Maybe this will be the wake up call he needs. I keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. ((((((((hugs))))))))
