Ok I read it wrong.
On tom's first day of summer vacation he woke up.
On tom's second day of summer vacation he woke up.
On tom's 3rd day he woke up and had coffee.

I guess I missed something, I didnt know Tom had a trip. My guess is he got lost, arrested and drunk.
Tom got drunk, drove drunk, was late meeting you or your daughter and offered lame exuses. Am I close? If not then he was an outstanding citizen that reminded you of a boy scout walking an old lady across the street, he took you out to dinner, was very romantic, and made sweet love to you all night. My guess is still the former but the latter does sound much more exciting and fun doesn't it? LOL Take care and have a good weekend.
