TGIF & Lisa is HOME!

YayFriday.gif

Oh the joy..........TGIF.  It's not like I have a hard week or anything, it's just that now I can make my own schedule...sleep really late if I want to.  But what I need to do is clean, organize, clean and clean some more.  There will surely be the traditional drudge of laundry.             Not too much planned for this weekend.  We're s'pozed to get a storm in this Saturday PM that I hear will last till Tuesday, lots of wind and rain, oh boy!

Today is my StepDad's birthday.  Miss T made brownies last night and he was gonna stop over today for some.  Maybe we'll take him out for dinner this weekend.  That's what he said he wanted to do.  MONDAY IS SUGAR'S BIRTHDAY, so don't forget to stop by and wish her a Happy Day!

For Lisa Jo who is FINALLY home from the hospital.  WHEW!  Girlfriend, you had me worried.  I knew you'd be OK but, still, a couple of days without you is just not right!  J-land was well, not the same.  Do what the Doc said and demand that your family pamper you!  Take on the Mrs Clooney attitude, be the Queen!

Next week Miss T starts Kid Cuisine M-F 9-12.  She is so excited to be "taking cooking class".  She wanted to practice so I said, "Cool, make a cake or some brownies" so when I got home last night there were warm brownies to greet me.  She will also start a hip-hop camp next week....she's not too sure about this, but wants to try it.  Why not!

Speaking of dance, we had our first meeting for this year's Nutcracker Ballet.  This will be the last year our team does this.  The lady who is in charged moved some 4 hours away last year and it's just too much for her to continue.  Miss T seems to want to be "Little Clara" this year.  That would be sooooooo awesome.  I'm ususally the "Mom" of the house, Frau Silberhaus, so to have my little girl be my "daughter" would be grand especially for this last year.  We've got a lot of work ahead of us, ads, sponsorships, posters, auditions, practice, practice, practice.  It's all fun!  I've had the same "husband" for 2 years, maybe we'll "stay married" for one more Nutcracker performance.

This is "us" the first year I danced. Hubby is Tony and originally from Portugal.  His daugher has danced in this for 9 years.

This is Miss T.  She's done this for 3 years going into #4.  We have a lot of fun.  She is dressed in the Victorian era, with a ringlet hairpiece (we all do); she was also a mouse, angel and a clown last year.  Cross your fingers for her to get the part of Clara this year.

Have a grand weekend all.........

Ellen talked to Lisa Jo

Yippeeee..Ellen talked with LJ.   Thanks Ellen, here's her comments from her journal:

"I called LisaJo around 5:00pm today. She sounded good, but in alot of pain. I told her the tons of prayers being said and that she was loved and to get better quick !!

We had a nice chat, but I didnt want to keep her on long.

I will call her again tomorrow.

I told her Megan had E-mailed me like she wanted with the details of what had happened and that I posted it in her comments this morning, since I wanted all her readers to know what was going on.

Her comments are through the roof !!! She is so loved and I hope she can finally realize that she is really is not damaged goods in our eyes, we love her and want her to be back home again soon."

Yay, Ellen for keeping us informed!

Must be the moon!

OK, what's going on around here?  There's been too many journals "attacked" by down right meanness, people commenting and leaving rude or otherwise bad vibes.  (Not in my journal thank GOD! and I hope I haven't upset anyone either!)  I've read of at least 2 this week and it's only HUMP DAY!

I enjoy J-land.  I have met some really neat people.  One of my first friends was Lisa at Adventures from Florida.  I love her style and I admire her determination/motivation.  And next was Shelly aka xxRoxymamaxx -- I loved her graphics!  Then Dwana at alphamoon....cool lady!  Says what she means and means what she says.  So from these ladies I went on to meet other awesome people:  Sharon/buggieboo1; Barbara/mastersblynn; Lisa Jo/Damaged Goods; Hadon/hadonfield78, Lanny/barebytes, Chris/cacklinrosie101 and these people led me to many, many others.  Some beautiful people, some beautiful pictures.

(Wow, I'm sounding like guest editor LOL!)  Get on to my point?  Did I have one ? LOL....maybe.  It was just about the stalkers and mean comment leavers that's all.  They need to STOP IT!  You are hurting some of my friends!

Now I feel better having said that!

Now this moon thing.....my DH is nuts.  I told him I was going out on Tuesday night (last night) to a certain restaurant with certain girl friends for a bridal celebration.  (It was nice - met some really cool people)  So Miss T goes to her Grandma's about 1pm and Tom is to meet up with a long time friend "J".

At 9:30pm when I was leaving the girls my cell rings and it's my Mom.  I call her back and am surprised to hear my Miss T's voice.  Seems Tom had failed to explain to anyone where I was.  He said to them "I don't know where she is" which was incorrect because I had told him the name of the restaurant!  Bonefish Grill, he even commented that he's never been.  Well, my Mom is thinking "hmmm, what's going on?".  Tara knew he was going with J to dinner but it's 9:30pm and shouldn't dinner be over by now?  She had no idea what to do.

Remember we've been dealing with panic attacks too, and her insecurity brings them on too...HELLO!!!!  Gee Tom do you think you could have explained your itinerary to my Mom???  They go to bed at 10pm and you know I'm out!!!!  He sees nothing wrong here.  (beating my head on a wall)  Even when I try to explain it to him he's in la la land.

Tara is saying "but he told me he was going to have dinner and come home".  Well, T & J never have dinner at a "normal" time.  When I called him at 9:30pm he said dinner was just ready and he'd be on soon.  So trying to explain that this is a "yankee" thing to us Southern Belles is tough enough!  He was home at 11.  As I was s'plaining to him, he was mocking me, especially when I said "irresponsible.......".....oh that made me boil for him to mock me...I so wanted to throw (not trow) something between his eyes.

Still this morning he is oblivious to what was so wrong here!

Updating Lisa Jo

In case you're all wondering, Lisa is in the hospital.  Here is a note from her daughter written to Ellen:

Hello..it's Megan.

My mom was admitted to the Mercy ER hospital today in room 3119. She is in a lot of pain and isn't feeling well at all. They said she has diverticulitis, which is a severe irritation and pain in her abdomen. She wanted me to tell you how she feels and for me to let you know about her condition. She's staying over night and tomorrow night as well. Keep her in your prayers..thanks! :)

Neighbor found-dead

http://www.wwaytv3.com/Global/story.asp?S=5048053

Sad, but true, my missing neighbor was found, dead, about 1/2 mile from his house.  Natural causes it says here.  There is a lot of speculation....seems he was found under a stump that had fallen over and in some water, either creek or ditch.  My brother didn't know details too much because the press release had not been made when I talked with him.  They are waiting for an autopsy.  (Weird me caught myself looking for buzzards this weekend!)  At least the family can move on now.
