Disney on Ice & Stuff

Good Monday (???) y'all!  I've stuck in a couple of pictures for ya.  Some of my decorations inside.  I'm not in the spirit much yet this year.  Maybe soon.  I hope so.  I've about finished my shopping....just a few incidental gifts left.  Santa is paid and we're set for his arrival.  Now I got to hit the grocery store for the goodies list.

Bossman gave me my Christmas bonus on Friday.  Nice!!  He's a very generous man and great to work for.

Mom, Miss T & I left about 11am on Saturday to head up to Raleigh to see "Disney Princesses on Ice".  We stopped off for a sandwich then headed to the mall.  The first store Tara spied was "Limited Too" but -- get this -- she didn't want anything !!!!!!  Said "it cost too much"..............?????????  Well, she's right!  I know she's very conscience about money, especially since last Wednesday morning our HEAT went out.  Thank GOD it was only a solenoid switch.  I had the bill sent to work....can't wait to see how much that is.

We had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory.  If you've never been, lemme tell ya, YOU GOTTA GO.  I've been before.  We put in for our table at 3:45 and were told it was a 45-60 minute wait.  Good thing we did this because I had said we needed to be eating by 5 and leaving no later than 5:50pm to get over to the RBC Center (4 miles away).  We got to our seats with only about 10 minutes to spare before the show.

It was beautiful.  If you ever have the chance, GO.  Even if you don't have small children or girls, just GO.  It is a great performance.  I tried to get good shots, but because of the changing of the lighting and the movement varying, it was tough, but I think I did OK.

Sunday Miss T & I did a little shopping and then we went up to get my favorite SUB Sandwich (yes Lanny, with you in mind my friend).  Then it was on my way to mybestestfriendinthewholewideworld's house that my right front tire went thud, Thud, THUD.....fuhhhhhhlat!  Only a mile from her house - I called her, she picked us up and I called Tom to come and change it hehehehehe.  We had a wonderful time at her house laughing and eating and drinking and laughing and eating and drinking.  I've missed her and she was so happy to be home from Illinois.

Monday, today, dropped off the car for 4 all around and an alignment. Can you say "Bye, bye Bonus"????  $450 later the car is running smooth again....sigh.  So here I sit all broken hearted.....................

.........all I want for Christmas is............

an all expense paid VACATION!!!!!!!!!

the Cheesecake Factory is a huge deal here...we do not have one in my city..only the big cities around us...we have went for celebrations and birthdays. The first time the waiter sat the plate in front of me i said loudly "you HAVE to be kidding me" and he was so worried there was not enough food. I said "honey i may be fat but my GOD, an army couldnt eat all this in a week!". LOL
I am glad you got a big bonus and i LOVE those pics. Both your trees are gorgeous, as is T.
LOVE, lj
