Kat n Kid

OK I'm up to my eyes here.  I told Miss T that the only way that Katie D' Kat could stay was if she would take responsibility for her cleaning and feeding etc.  Well, the first week was OK, 2nd not so bad, 3rd eeehhhh.  NOW this morning I go into the laundry room (where else would I be?) and what do you think I find?

The KAT had pissed OUTSIDE of her box and it was running across the floor ................grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

So when I said to Miss T "when's the last time you cleaned the box?" she says "I forgot".  I WANT THIS CAT GONE!  She Ralph's on my carpet, and Tara just doesn't seem interested in keeping up with her.  Who do you think cleans up this mess....well, Tom does if I'm at work, but the piss, oh yeah, it was ME!  My coworker wanted her, but then T decided, with tears, that she didn't want to get rid of her, promising to take care of Katie (we've had her for 3 years).  Yeah, yeah, yeah.  I should have just given her to someone.

Maybe when "kitty season" is done, I'll take her to PetsMart so someone can adopt her.

CAT!

Yuck.
I am deathly allergic to cats so i hate cats, all cats. They are cute and all but they make me sick. I say give it away if they dont help you out. In time, she would forget about it. But some people are very attached. Poor Sharon!!

Love you,lisa jo

My FIRST cat ever, pissed AND pooped OUTSIDE the box far more then in the box.  We (I) went through the ringer.  If your not up to it, find a home now for her, or you will go NUTS!!!!!!!!! But sorry you have to deal with that. I know all to well.  I broke KiKi by keeping her in a SMALL cage with a litter box I constructed, it took a WEEK, then I gave her more space by keeping her in the bathroom, that was HARD because we only have one bathroom.  AGGGGGGGGGGG...Now she was worth it, but a LONG road :)

I can relate.  My daughter has a cat.  We put her outside to potty.  Because my husband refuses to have a litter box in the house.  But if my daughter goes away over night and she doesnt get put out she has decided that the place to do her business in on my bathroom rugs!!!

Good luck,  Liz

Wow, reading the comments, I'm super lucky with Megan's cat, Mocha.  She never, ever goes outside the litter box.  She was locked in my room all day one day and didn't go at all.  I'm not sure how you break the habit.  I've heard people say that some cats are particular about the type of litter in the box and some won't go in it if it isn't scooped daily.  Lots of luck with this one.  I have a foolish dog that dumps on my livingroom floor when we leave him.  I had to pull up the carpet and have a super duper laminated hardwood floor installed.  Pets are a pain in the you know what.  HUGS  Chris

I know you feel that way now, but I'm sure you must have sort of attachment for the cat.  Anyway, have a good week ahead.

We have a similar problem over here with London who will pee in her box but deposits her pooh poohs for us beside the box, to my utter dismay.

We usually take Tiny everywhere with us, but one time when I went to Erics and Daddy wanted to keep her only to find out when I arrived in Austin that Daddy was going to have to leave to go work out of town...Tiny had to be alone in the house
with food and water...when I got back I looked to the house I looked everywhere for poop.  Tiny kept barking  for me to go into the bathroom and there I found in....in the tub.  How considerate...doncha think!

Aren't cats fun.  IN the years of owning cats I have learned cats are animals for a special kind of person.  First of all they have their own personalities and can be very spiteful!  I have a cat he is a good boy but at the same time I have had to weed through the bad ones to get to the one good one I have!

Good luck with this, I know it is not a very easy situation to have to deal with!
