I'm Failing 3rd Grade Math

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.............

To me this is a Pyramid.............It has 8 sides.

But I am also thinking a Pyramid has 6 sides....if it is a fishing weight.

Then matters got worse when I found this one....

So there's been a big discussion in our house to answer one stinking little 3rd grade math question.....How many edges does a pyramid have?

Tara said 5 and I think she just may be right.  Next time I'm in Egypt I'll ask King Tut!

LOL...I don't like math a bit.  I could never help my kids with it.  Doesn't it seem like they are learning things in elementary school that we learned in high school.  Yikes!  Chris

I think there is five if you count the bottom and four if you don't.  But math wasn't my favorite subject.  Have a great Hump Day tomorrow.  Take care.

Even with homeschooling, my kids are expected (by state mandates) to do things in math way beyond what I believe we did growing up in our grade levels.  It's ridiculous.
