Sharing Easter

I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter Sunday as much as we did ours.  Tara got us up to show off her bunny loot.  Then we decorated the Lamb cake...I had to make the Egg cake cause the lamb messed up and did not want to stand.  Tara helped with the decorations.  Then it was hurry up and rush to get ready for church.  We went to my Mom's church...it was a nice service with communion served as the preacher read from Matthew the details leading up to the crucifixion and ressurection.

We hurried home to get our goodies out of the oven, changed clothes and headed over to Mom's.  It was a beautiful 85 degree day and we all enjoyed dinner and the fellowship.  I even got Miss T to pose by Grammy's azaleas and the other pic is of my nephew "hunting" eggs...see how well they were hidden right in the middle of the floor.   After dinner, my step-brother went out to play golf with the other (2) brothers.  Tom & I spent some time down at the dock just enjoying the breeze and watching the various boats go by.  Good news here - Tom though he had lost his small fishing pole some 3 years ago, but he found it down at mom's dock!  Imagine his surprise.   The batteries in my digital died so there were just a few shots I could upload.  Others I took with my 35mm...I love my 35!

Once we made it back home, Tom began his duty of packing.  So tomorrow he is off to Tampa for a week....I'll be a batchelorette for a while, wonder what kind of trouble I can get into???  Already made plans to go out with a girlfriend on Friday.

Wow...it is almost 1am....and tomorrow is gonna be a long day.  Goodnight to all!
